Loretta DiGianivittorio

Loretta DiGianivittorio (née Lemmo), age 88, passed away on March 5, 2026. Born on October 13, 1937, in Philadelphia to Nicholas and Jenney Lemmo, she was preceded in death by her loving sisters, Suzanne and Genieve. She was the beloved wife of the late John Joseph DiGianivittorio, Sr., and the devoted mother of John Joseph Jr. (Marielena) and Nicholas Anthony Sr. (Paula Ann).

A cherished grandmother, Loretta is survived by her grandchildren John Joseph III (Jaclyn Rose), Michael Nicholas, Nicholas Anthony Jr. (Rachael Renee'), Pauline Ann, Angel Marie, and Vincent Paul, as well as great-grandchildren Dakota John and Jada Marie. She also leaves behind her loving godchildren, nieces, nephews, and dearest friends.

Loretta enjoyed a long and dedicated career at Prudential Bank, where she worked for more than 40 years before retiring in 2016 as Executive Secretary. She found great joy in family dinners and celebrations honoring her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as cherished time spent with family in Ocean City. A devout Catholic, she remained faithful through daily prayers, reciting the Rosary, and watching EWTN.
