Loraine Mae McCoy, née Tenbusch, age 95 of Marlette, passed away on March 12, 2026 at The United Hospice Residence in Marlette. She was born on September 6, 1930 in Minden City, Michigan to Alphonse and Beatrice (Halifax) Tenbusch.

A graduate of Minden City High School, she worked at the Minden City Post Office, Polewach in Marlette, and H & R Block of Sandusky. A woman of steadfast faith, Loraine found quiet joy in baking, sewing, reading, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her eight children, Ken (Sandy) McCoy, Sandie (Dennis) Cargill, Dan McCoy, Cindy (Joe) Ruchgy, Frank (Chris) McCoy, Anne (Don) Redman, Dave McCoy, and Elizabeth (Jeff) O'Donnell; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter due in September; her brothers Jerry (Jo), Don (Annie), Gaylord (Fay), and Charles Tenbusch; sister-in-law Carol Tenbusch; brothers-in-law Frank Malloy, Mike Peruski, and Dennis Gentner; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, her parents, brothers Alphonse Jr. and Richard, sisters Joan, Marlene, and Karen, sisters-in-law Geraldine and Marge Tenbusch, and grandsons Cody Ruchgy and Damien Cargill. Loraine was the last living member of the Dr. John and Alma (Brodbeck) McCoy family, which included 15 children and their spouses.
