Lora Jo Little

Lora Jo Little, 58, of Waleska, Georgia, passed away on January 26, 2026, two weeks after her 58th birthday.

Born in Atlanta and raised in Waleska, Lora lived her life deeply rooted in Georgia. She raised her three sons in Canton, later lived in Cartersville, and returned to Waleska for her final years. A devoted homemaker and mother, she centered her world on her sons Levi, Noah, and Josh. When health challenges arose, she homeschooled them and remained faithfully involved in guiding them through every stage of life.

Thoughtful, observant, and deeply caring, Lora had a natural gift for noticing people and details. She spent years researching and documenting her family’s genealogy, work that ultimately led her to discover and reconnect with a long-lost half-sister, Kyleen. She also enjoyed detective and true-crime programs, drawing, caring for her cats, and exploring the food traditions of cultures around the world. A devout Baptist, she read her Bible daily and lived a quiet, faithful life according to her convictions.

She is survived by her sons Levi, Noah, and Josh; her brothers Brian and Dwight; and her sister Kyleen.
