Lonnie D. Eschliman

Lonnie D. Eschliman of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Seward, Nebraska, passed away on March 13, 2026 at the age of 90. He leaves behind a large and loving family who will carry his memory with deep affection.

Predeceased by his parents, Theodore Jonas “Ted” Eschliman and Lurena Mae “Mae” Nichols, his sisters Theola (Bill Gilmore) and Lurena (Don Workman), his sister-in-law Delores Eschliman, and his grandson Tyler Lonnie Flesner, Lonnie is survived by his wife Marian Bennett; his son Ted Eric (Robin); his brother Larre Eschliman of Hutchinson, Kansas; and his children Paul (Debra) of Lincoln, Steve (Kris) of Omaha, Diana Flesner, Julie Eschliman of Lincoln, and Sue Weible (Terry) of Dunbar. He is also survived by his grandchildren Derek Flesner, Sam Eschliman (Taylor), Moises Flores, Mario Flesner, Ruben Flesner of Lincoln, Daniel Eschliman (Jennifer) of Sykesville, Maryland, Matthew Eschliman (Tessa) of Denver, Colorado, Adam, Mark Eschliman (Emily) of Omaha, Kayla Munoz (Ricardo), Erica Eschliman, and Kalissa Flesner of Lincoln; and his great-grandchildren Antonio Munoz, Dalan Flesner, Oliver Munoz, Amelie Eschliman, Meysi Munoz, Bennett Eschliman, Jude Eschliman, Rosita Munoz, Elsie Eschliman, and William Munoz.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to lincolnlittles.org.
