Lonita Rose Price, 74, of Clyde, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in North Carolina. Born on February 22, 1952, in Pikeville, Kentucky, to Beverly and Sally Bell (Thompson) Miller, she graduated from Riverdale High School in Mount Blanchard, Ohio, in 1971.

On January 1, 1971, in Mount Blanchard, Lonita married James Price, who survives her after fifty-five years of marriage. She devoted herself to her family as a homemaker, creating a warm and loving home for those she cherished most. She also worked at the Clyde Moose Lodge and took pride in her role maintaining the cleanliness of the Sandusky County Courthouse. An active member of her community, Lonita belonged to the VFW, Eagles, and Moose Lodge, where she formed many lasting friendships. In her free time, she enjoyed working on puzzles and took great delight in her collection of bears.

Lonita is survived by her husband, James Price; her children, Kimberly Lynn (Brian) Miller of Pandora, Ohio, Marlene (Jeff) Sprouse of St. Louis, Missouri, Francis (Marnie) Price of Fremont, Ohio, Rebecca (Christopher) Binder of Clyde, Ohio, and Severend (Mindy) Price of Fremont, Ohio; her siblings, Diana Lynn Geotz, Connie (Doug) Reed, Doug (Michelle) Miller, Sally Rogers, William (Tori) Miller, and Kenneth (Pam) Miller; her niece, Natasha Marino; thirteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
