Lois Willene Willson

Lois Willene Willson, born on September 6, 1951, in Tylertown, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, in Byram, Mississippi, at the age of 74.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Willson, a Baptist preacher. Together they shared a deep devotion to their faith and a lifelong commitment to spreading the message of Jesus Christ. Lois saw her purpose as sharing her love for the Lord with everyone she met, and she left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Latina Reid and her husband James, and Michael King and his wife Carolyn; her siblings, Louis Morris and his wife Mary, and Joyce Jones; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren, who brought her great joy.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband Robert Willson and her parents, Lee and Willene Morris. Her unwavering faith and deep dedication to her family will be fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
