Lois Strand

Lois Strand, 98, of Mitchell, South Dakota, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Edgewood Memory Care in Mitchell.

Born and raised in the Mitchell area, Lois lived a long and full life, remaining a cherished member of her community for nearly a century. She was known for her quiet strength, gentle spirit, and deep devotion to her family and faith. Lois found great joy in the simple rhythms of daily life and in the company of those she loved.

She is survived by her family and friends who will remember her with abiding affection and gratitude for the many years they shared. Lois will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery in Mitchell.
