Lois Rein

Lois Rein, née Felice, aged 86, passed away on March 11, 2026. Born in Patchogue, New York, she lived there for 66 years and was a proud member of the Patchogue-Medford High School Class of 1957. At the time of her passing, she was the longest-living member of the Patchogue Felice family.

Lois served as president of the Medford Avenue PTA, director of the Patchogue Garden Club, and board member of Patchogue’s Emanuel Lutheran Church. It was there, and later in Florida, that she introduced and led the ALPHA Project, focusing on the work of the Holy Spirit in the Trinity. With her natural gifts for home design, entertaining, cooking, and gracious hospitality, she brought joy and beauty to every gathering. Her friends often remarked on her remarkable talents, and she loved the beach, the color pink, and making everything around her beautiful. Above all, Lois embodied love and care.

She is survived by her husband, Norman; her sons, Ron, Rick, and Jeff (Cheri); her grandchildren, Rick (Christine), Kristalyn Pelletier (Andrew), Jenni Sharpe (Sam), Patrick, and Kelsey Falatovich (Josh); her great-grandchildren, Ella and Evie Pelletier, Adam Sharpe, Raelyn, Sydney, and the eagerly awaited third Falatovich child; along with numerous “bonus” grandchildren and great-grandchildren from the Fucci and Witman families; and many dear friends.
