Lois Mae Dobrinska

Lois Mae Dobrinska of the Town of Polar passed away on March 8, 2026 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Green Bay at the age of 93.

Lois was born on September 23, 1932 in Polar to the late Albert and Viola (Gruenberg) Dodge. She graduated from Antigo High School. She was united in marriage to Donald “Duck” Dobrinska on October 21, 1950 in Polar. He preceded her in death on August 7, 2013.

In addition to being a dedicated homemaker, Lois worked in a variety of different occupations prior to her retirement. Lois lived her life devoted to her faith. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Polar and most recently Calvary Lutheran in Antigo. She was active in her churches and especially enjoyed quilting within her church.

She is survived by children, Barbara (Michael) Schultz, James (Marcy), Ronald, and William (Marie) Dobrinska, 11 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.

A private family burial is being held at Town of Polar Cemetery, formerly St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
