Lois Mae Auringer

In loving memory of Lois Mae Auringer of Austin, Minnesota, who departed this world on March 7, 2026 at the age of 93. Lois leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Olson and Eleanor Olson; her husband Gene Auringer (Gene); her son Mark Auringer; and her brother Norman Olson.

She is survived by: her children, Brian Auringer (Paula) of Mantorville, MN, Gail Jefferson (Rodney) of Coon Rapids, MN, Lynn Handzel (Greg) of Tallahassee, FL and Jason Auringer (Karla) of Wentzville, MO; and her daughter-in-law Sandy Auringer of Austin, MN. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (1200 13th Ave NW, Austin, MN 55912).
