Lois G. Rink

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lois Ann "Lolo" Guidry Rink on Sunday, March 8, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was affectionally called Lolo by her family and friends. She was born on November 15, 1941 and was the beloved daughter of the late Horace Guidry and the late Doris Camardelle Guidry. She was raised in Westwego, LA and later resided in Marrero, LA since 1967.

Lois was the devoted mother to Kevin Rink (Natalie) and the late Keith Rink and the late Kris Rink Sr. Grandmother of Cole Rink, Olivia Stafford (Dillon), Chaz Rink (Tina) and the late Kris Rink Jr. Great-grandmother of Luca, Nora, Reign Michael, and Gianna Rose. She is also survived by her loving sisters Nancy Lee (Ronald), Linda Michel (Henry), Wayne Guidry (Debbie), and Gary Guidry (Charlene).

Lois was an employee with Entergy (formerly LP&L) for 26 years where she made life long friends who are now part of her family. She was loved by so many people. She enjoyed working in her yard, swimming, taking cruises, and most of all dancing. She will be dearly missed and remain in our hearts forever.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Amita Krishnan and her pulmonologist team at U.M.C. of New Orleans for all the love and care they provided Lolo; as well as the entire team of hospice nurses at Southern Grace Hospice.

Friends and family are invited to attend visitation at 11:00AM till 1:30PM with funeral services immediately following on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 LAPALCO BLVD., in Marrero, LA.  Private Interment will follow.
