Lois Ford

Lois Carol Ford, 88, formerly of Sheridan, Wyoming, and Stafford, Virginia, passed away on March 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was received into heaven by her Savior, Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ford; her brother, Donald Schneider; and her parents, Donald and Beatrice Schneider. Lois is survived by her children, Laurie Park and Bobby Ford. She took great pleasure in the company of her grandchildren, Ashleigh, Emily, Benjamin, Michael, and Lindsay, and she absolutely adored her eight great-grandchildren. Lois loved sharing treasures and stories from her travels and her deep affection for books with them.

A beloved elementary school teacher for twenty years in Stafford, Virginia, Lois remained close to many of her former students. She found joy in the companionship of her many puppies and delighted family and friends with her vivid stories of the Wild West. Though she left Wyoming, her heart and soul remained there always.
