Lois Carolyn (Rennie) Frischolz

Lois Carolyn (Rennie) Frischolz, 94, of Jeannette, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026, in William Penn Care Center. Born on December 31, 1931, in Elizabeth Township, she was the daughter of the late Harvey W. Rennie Sr. and the late Ellen Elizabeth (Joll) Rennie.

She worked for many years at U.S. Steel in Clairton and later at Airtek in Irwin. A longtime member of Circleville United Methodist Church, Lois found great joy in her family and friends, helping others, her beloved flowers, dancing, music, and her dogs Trixie and Sweetie. An accomplished pianist, she took special pleasure in entertaining seniors and was known for her warm ability to make new friends wherever she went.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Frischolz Sr., in 2006; her brother, Harvey W. (the late Lois) Rennie Jr.; and her grandson, Brett Frischolz.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Lynne (Albert) Karanovich of Jeannette; her son, Dale (Darlene Regina) Rosendahl of Mesa, Arizona; grandchildren Justin (Henry Avery) Rosendahl and Kaitlin (Daniel) Parker; many nieces and nephews; and extended family Rick (Joyce) Frischolz of North Huntingdon and their children and grandchildren. She was deeply loved and will be fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
