Lois Bihn

Lois Ann Bihn, 86, of Tiffin, passed away on March 12, 2026. Born on December 5, 1939, in Tiffin to Louis and Marjorie (Elchert) Herbert, she was a 1957 graduate of Calvert High School and later earned her nursing degree from Mt. Carmel School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse in area nursing homes and doctors’ offices throughout her career.

On April 20, 1968, Lois married David Bihn, who preceded her in death on November 15, 2022. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Red Hat Society, and the Cousins’ Club. Lois found joy in ceramics, crocheting afghans, traveling, card club, bingo, playing slots at the casino, and taking trips with the Allen Eiry Senior Center.

She is survived by her sons, Anthony David (Heather) Bihn of Lansing, Michigan, and Thomas Joseph Bihn of Norwalk; her brother-in-law, Terry Nesselhauf of Tiffin; a granddaughter, Emily; and her close friend, Joyce Taylor-Freeze. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, brothers William Herbert and James Herbert, and sisters Joan Nesselhauf and Janet Herbert.
