Indianapolis, IN
Lois Ann Nohlechek, born on July 7, 1949, in Whitesburg, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the age of 76. Her early childhood was spent surrounded by family before they relocated to Indianapolis, where she built a life centered on love, hard work, and deep community ties.
Lois dedicated more than two decades to her work as a printer at P.A.R. Printed Forms, where her meticulous attention to detail reflected her strong character. She later retired after 25 years of service at Meijer. A graduate of Harry E. Wood High School, she found joy in bowling leagues, following NBA basketball with enthusiasm, and making friendly wagers on games. She also cherished traveling and baking treats to share with family and friends.
A proud member of Eastern Star Chapter No. 390, Lois remained actively involved in its mission and regularly attended Greenwood United Methodist Church, where her faith and community connections continued to flourish.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Nohlechek (Kim); her brother, Rev. Joe Williams; granddaughters Kirstyn Nohlechek (Austin Stevens) and Klayre Nohlechek; great-grandson Sullivan; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews who held her dear. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna D. Williams. Lois leaves behind a legacy of friendship, family devotion, and quiet dedication that will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
