Lloyd Neudecker

Lloyd A. Neudecker, 71, of East Haddam, passed away on March 10, 2026, at Hartford Hospital. Born on May 19, 1954, in Spokane, Washington, he was the son of the late John and Ruth (Robinson) Neudecker. A lifelong resident of East Haddam, Lloyd retired from Whelen Engineering after many years of dedicated service.

He was a lifelong member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in East Haddam. Lloyd served as Past President of the UCONN Friends of Soccer and on the East Haddam Senior Housing Board of Directors. He was active in the Republican Party and served as an election moderator. An avid follower of international soccer, he was eagerly anticipating the FIFA World Cup.

Above all, Lloyd was known for his kindness and for being the family’s devoted caregiver, always looking after those he loved. He is survived by his brothers, Larry J. Neudecker of East Haddam and Lee E. Neudecker (Misti) of Alaska; his sisters, Laurie D’Aquila (Nicholas) of East Haddam and Lynn Woodward (Charles) of East Haddam; and numerous nieces and nephews.
