Hagberg and Sarah G. Hagberg. He passed away to be with the Lord on March 11, 2026 at Medical City Hospital in Dallas, Texas.Lloyd graduated from Sherman High School in 1965 and attended both Grayson County and Austin College of Sherman, Texas. He served in theAir Force from 1969-1973, retiring as Sergeant. He worked for Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Tx and Wilson N. Jones hospital in Sherman, Tx as a registered American Medical Technologist. Lloyd was owner and President of DEL/MAX Restaurant Supply of Sherman,Tx retiring in 2012.Lloyd E. Hagberg married Martinnie Sue Lasater April 10, 1976. They were married 49 years. Lloyd enjoyed fast cars, fast boats, and the lake. He was a loving caretaker of his pets, which brought him great joy. He was a beloved husband, uncle and great uncle who was soproud to drive his big black truck. He loved his family.Lloyd E. Hagberg is survived by his wife Martinnie Lasater Hagberg of Pottsboro, Tx; Sister Linda Moseley of Sherman, Tx and her children Meredith Magruder and husband Byron of McKinney and Monica Brugger of Sherman, Tx; Brother-in-law Daniel Spiller; Nieces andnephews Michael Spiller Sr., Sharri Spiller-Kiernan, Jason Spiller, Melissa Lasater, Howard Bell, Regina Bell and Carolyn Bell; Great nieces and nephews Grace Magruder, Abigail Magruder, Madison Brugger, Donielle Spiller-Reynolds, Michael Spiller Jr., Kayla Spiller,Mason Spiller, David Kiernan, Emily Kiernan, James Kiernan, Dakota Paxton and McKenna Eddington.Lloyd is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Martin G. and Marie Hagberg; maternal grandparents George and Elsie (Holly) Simmons; parents Delwin E. Hagberg of Houston Tx. and Sarah Gould Hagberg of Sherman, Tx.; Brother-in-law John Moseley; Sisterin-law Donna Mae Bell Spiller; and great-nephews Isaac Spiller and Dylan Paxton.Funeral services and celebration of life for Lloyd E. Hagberg will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, Texas. A reception will commence at 1pm followed by the funeral service at 2pm officiated by Pastor Cara Gilger.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
