Elizabeth “Liz” Traynor, born May 17, 1938 in Appleton, Wisconsin, passed away on March 8, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Daughter of the late Raymond and Lucille (Schmitz) Gottschalk, she married Donald Traynor on February 14, 1984. Liz was the devoted mother of three daughters, Pam, Penny, and Polly, and a son, James (Bud) Bieritz, from a previous marriage. Donald brought two children into the family, daughter Coleen and son Paul. Together, Liz and Donald cherished 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She will be remembered for the love and care she gave to her large and blended family throughout her life.
