Lisa Jo Guy, 73, of Westernport, passed away on March 12, 2026. Born on September 1, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Gloria and Junior Dawson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dana Guy.

A 1970 graduate of Bruce High School, Lisa attended Allegany College of Maryland. She worked for many years as a Teacher’s Aide at Westernport Elementary School and was a longtime member of St. Peter’s Church in Westernport.

She is survived by her daughters, Gina Spriggs, Julie Francis, and Christina Galbraith; her grandchildren, Alec, Courtney, Jessica, Justin, Jacob, Sienna, Kingston, and Ceasar; and eight great-grandchildren.

Lisa shared a deep bond with her late Aunt Rachael Dayton, whom she loved and respected greatly. She remained close to her late cousin Valarie (Dayton) Grogan and her living family members Becky (Dayton) Donnellan, Tim and Diane Dayton, and all of her cousins. She cherished many dear friends, especially her two closest confidantes, Susan Biddle and Paula Dorsey. Lisa formed lasting friendships at Westernport Elementary School, with her Westmar High School color guard companions, during shopping outings with her beloved friends, and with her Bruce High School Class of 1970. A devoted Redskins fan, she had worked at the Chevy Chase Lounge while living in Washington, D.C., and later at Moran’s Lounge and the Stray Cat Cafe after returning to Westernport.
