Lisa Gale Painter, 66, of Buckholts, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 8, 2026. Born on June 8, 1959, in Cameron to Bufford Glen and Kathryn Nell (Bales) May, Lisa lived a life devoted to her family and community.
A retired homemaker and business owner, she brought warmth and care to those around her. Lisa is remembered fondly by her sons, Adam Zertuche of Austin and Dylan Painter of Kyle; her mother, Kathryn Shelton of Buckholts; and her brothers, Steven Lynn May and Jeffrey Allen May, both of Buckholts.
Her family will gather to celebrate her life at a memorial service on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Rogers Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rogers Church of Christ.
