Linford "Lin" Lockwood

Linford “Lin” Lockwood passed away at home on March 13, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on February 11, 1935, in Viola, Delaware, he was the son of the late Catherine Tatman Lockwood and Nelson Lockwood. After graduating from Felton High School, he proudly served four years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Robert K. Huntington.

Lin spent the next thirty years working at General Foods, later known as Kraft Heinz. He took great pride in his home and garden, and he was an avid fisherman who looked forward each year to winter fishing in the Florida Keys and fall offshore fishing from the Outer Banks of North Carolina. He and his family were enthusiastic travelers, exploring much of the United States, the Caribbean, Alaska, Mexico, Russia, and Europe.

He is survived by his wife, Estelle, and his beloved grand dog, the Golden Retriever Dakota. His only child, Steven Artis Lockwood, predeceased him in November 2024.
