Thompson, of Winnsboro, will be held at the River of Life Church in Winnsboro on March 27, 2026 @ 10am. Arrangements are under the direction of Young's Community Memorial in Winnsboro.Linda was born September 14, 1943, in Penns Grove, NJ and passed from this life on March 12, 2026, in Winnsboro, LA at the age of 82. She was a member of River of Life Church in Winnsboro and was employed as a data entry clerk for mortgage loan companies through the years. She enjoyed reading and solving word seek puzzles. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.She is preceded in death by her husbands and fathers of her two daughters, Raymond Eugene Johnson and Jimmy S. Gillian; her parents, Harley and Mamie Jo Thompson; and one daughter, Diane Michele Chapman.Survivors include her daughters, Jennifer Broussard and husband, Ernest of Winnsboro, Candi Bise and husband, Jimmie of Waldorf, MD; one brother, Mark Anthony Thompson and wife, Brenda of Ooltewah, TN; three grandchildren, Tiffany Chapman of Winnsboro, Jo Lee Clark and husband, Brad of Baskin, Matthew Chapman and wife, Apryl of Gilbert; four great-grandchildren, Cade Atkins, Harley Atkins, Luke Chapman, and Allie Chapman; her fur-baby, "Lucy"; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
