Linda T. Cronin (née Taroli), age 77, of Naperville, Illinois, passed away on March 10, 2026, at Endeavor Health Edward Hospital in Naperville. Born on February 21, 1949, in Chicago, she had lived in Naperville since 1974, having grown up in Cicero.

She was the beloved wife of Scott J. Cronin, whom she married on May 1, 1971. Linda was a loving mother to Dayna (Mike) Smith of Minooka, Donald (Amanda) Cronin of Oswego, Scott (Amber) Cronin of Lemont, Brian (Jennifer) Cronin of Joliet, and Kelly (Joe) Lucas of Chicago. She was the adored grandmother of Jaclyn and Jessica Smith; Kiley and Gavin Cronin; Scott, A.J., Skyler and Cole Cronin; Alexandria and Ayden Cronin; and James and McKenna Lucas. She was the devoted daughter of the late Frank and Ruth (née Slauzis) Taroli, dear sister of Edward (Annette) Taroli of Roscoe and the late Frank Taroli, fond cousin of Mary Anne (née Taroli) (Jim) Gray of Bolingbrook, and a loving aunt, great-aunt, and friend to many. She will also be missed by her dog, Goldie.

Linda dedicated more than 25 years to her work at Dominick’s, where she formed many lasting friendships with coworkers and customers before retiring. She took great pleasure in hosting family dinners during the holidays, welcoming everyone with her cooking and warm hospitality. Spending time with her family was one of her greatest joys, especially watching and supporting her grandchildren in their sports and activities. She also enjoyed meeting former coworkers for lunch and staying connected with friends over the years.

Linda will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the love she shared with everyone around her.
