Linda Peace ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home on Mar. 16, 2026.Linda Sue Caudill Peace, born on November 10, 1949, in Hazard, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home. She leaves behind a rich legacy of love and service, cherished by all who knew her.Linda is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Dennis D. Peace, and their four children: Mitchell (Tina) Peace, Paula (Johnnie) Hyatt, Jeremy (April) Peace, Zachary (Heath) Peace. She was a proud grandmother to Christina (Jesse) Borders, Taylor (James) Peace-Coogle, Hannah Hyatt, Kaley (Cody) Hyatt, Steven (Danielle) Hyatt, Carley Peace, Clayton Peace, Conner Peace.Linda is also survived by her sister, Doris Stevens Moore, and brothers Garrett (Angie) Caudill, and Paul (Sharon) Caudill, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Fraud and Mary Combs Caudill, her siblings Kathleen Brummett, Gene Caudill, Fred Caudill, Alma McDaniels, Jessie Bevins, Agnes Hollis, and Helen Clayton.Linda dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse, spending many years working at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home and Bourbon Community Hospital. A true servant of God, she was a pastor's wife who, alongside her husband helped establish two churches and pastored three others. Her commitment to spreading the love of Jesus was evident in her efforts through teaching Sunday school classes and her involvement in youth and women's ministries. Linda's unwavering faith and tireless work in the kingdom of God inspired many and will be remember fondly.Visitation will take place at 11:00AM EST on March 21, 2026, at River of Life Ministries, 616 Clintonville Rd., Paris, Kentucky, followed by a funeral service at 1:00PM EST. Services presided over by Reverend Krista Hampton. Linda will be laid to rest at Mount Zion Cemetery in Magnolia, Kentucky at a later date.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to River of Life Ministries, reflecting Linda's spirit of giving and service.The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main Street, Paris, KY.
