Mrs. Linda Sue Beasley King, age 79, of Unionville, TN went to heaven to be with Jesus surrounded by her family, March 9th, 2026. She was born in Bedford County, TN to the late James Washington and Dorothy Elise Giles Beasley on December 9, 1946. She was a lifelong resident of Bedford County. Linda was a very active longtime member of Cedar Grove Church, which she loved so very much. She was a 4th grade teacher at Community Elementary School. She was a mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family.

Mrs. Linda loved participating in church activities especially the church women’s groups. She had a true passion for teaching school and helping mold her students. Linda loved growing flowers bur most of all, she loved her family and participating in their activities!

Mrs. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Thomas Larry King of Unionville, TN; daughter, Cynthia Rene’ (Mark) Friedman of Unionville, TN; son, Stephen Ashley (Elysha) King, of Unionville, TN;. brothers, David (Brenda) Beasley and Donald (Judi) Beasley, all of Chapel Hill; grandsons, Bronson (Izii) Friedman and Noah (Rachel) Friedman; granddaughters, Ashley (Tyler) Sanders and Kaylie King (Sawyer Fults); great grandsons, Gideon and Elliot Friedman.

Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 4 PM-8 PM, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 10 AM from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Unionville Cemetery in Unionville, TN.

Pallbearers will be Bronson Friedman, Noah Friedman, Tyler Sanders, Sawyer Fults, Clift Beasley, and Tad Barber.
