Linda Sue Anderson

1949 — 2026

Manchester, IN

Linda Sue Anderson, age 76, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026. Born on November 17, 1949, to William and Madge Hall, she lived a life centered on the people and pleasures she cherished most—her family, good food, music, and creating lasting memories with those closest to her.

She shared her life with her devoted husband, Ricky Anderson, and took great pride in her role as mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Nothing brought her more joy than time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Linda was known for her warm heart and vibrant spirit. She loved dancing with the Twin City Cloggers, where she formed many cherished friendships, and she enjoyed traveling to new places. Yet some of her happiest moments were the simple ones shared at home with family. A gifted cook, she was famous for her Swiss steak and cornbread dressing, especially loved by her son Shawn. She was also a devoted fan of Conway Twitty and found delight in small personal pleasures, such as visits to the salon to have her hair and nails done.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David Sizemore; her grandson, Andrew Sizemore; her sister, Tracy M. Hall; her sister-in-law Crystal Hall; and her brother, Rick Hall.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Anderson; her son, Shawn Sizemore (Francene); her grandchildren, Megan Simison (Austin), Gabe Sizemore (Alicia), Tara Reed, and Richard Clark; and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, James A. Hall of Hartford City, Indiana; her sisters, Nicki F. Henderson (James) and Rosa D. Ingram of Jonesboro, Indiana, and Brenda L. Jackson (Rick Humphries) of Marion, Indiana; and her sister-in-law, Melody Hall of Polk City, Florida. Linda will be remembered for her deep love of family, her generous spirit, and the many special moments she created for those around her.
