Linda Stewart Savage

Linda Stewart Savage, 78, of Fayetteville transitioned into the arms of Jesus, Wednesday, March 4, 2026 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Linda was born on May 13, 1947, daughter to the late Bernard Stewart and Betty P. Goodman.

Linda worked as a meat inspector with the USDA before retirement. She loved pets, especially Dogs, and her cat Karma, doing Ceramics and especially her husband Johnny and her family. Linda was a member of Crystal Springs Chapel Church where she and her husband attended faithfully until his sickness. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny W, Savage, a stepdaughter, Samantha Cruz, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Linda is survived by her children, Ronnie H. Barfield, Donnie Barfield (Brandi), John Ronald Savage, Jonathan D. Savage, Benjamin R. Savage, (Daryn), Isabella L. Savage (Rosalina), all of Fayetteville; brothers, J. Dean Stewart and Harry Stewart, both of Fayetteville; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A Visitation will be held, 2:00 -3:00 PM Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Crystal Springs Chapel, 1400 Crystal Springs Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306.

Funeral Services will begin an 3:00 PM following the visitation with Reverend Bruce Suggs officiating.

Burial will be 10:00 AM, Monday, March 16, 2026 in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd, Spring Lake, NC 28390.
