Jacksonville, IL
Linda Starleen Flynn Myers, 75, of Jacksonville, Illinois, passed away on March 11, 2026, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, surrounded by her family. Born on March 9, 1951, she was the daughter of Hershel Flynn and Faustina Grissom. She was married first to Raymond Waco Wyatt and later to Michael Myers, who preceded her in death on January 13, 2016.
Linda worked as a waitress in her younger years and later at St. Mary's Square in Galesburg. After retiring, she devoted herself fully to caring for her grandson Cody, who became the center of her world. She was an avid Goodwill shopper who delighted in finding treasures, a devoted follower of Javier Baez and his baseball career, and someone who looked forward to family gatherings, especially the card games that brought everyone together. Above all, she cherished her family. She took great care to prepare each person's favorite foods at meals, often cooking multiple dishes to ensure everyone was happy, and she shared a particularly close bond with her grandson Johnny.
She is survived by her children, John Wyatt, Jerimiah (Rhonda) Wyatt, Erin (Zach) Combs, and Lindsey Boys; her brother, Steven Flynn; her grandchildren, Jonathan "Johnny" Wyatt, Austin Bradford, Ty Brant, Jacob Wyatt, Corey Wyatt, Ryan Wyatt, Tiffany Mullens-Stone, Kelsie Wyatt, Walter Dillon Miller, Jacie Wilson, Madison Gregory, Katelin Nelson, Brenton Nelson, Lauren Nelson, Eaan Wallace, Coen Wallace, Cody Boys, and Caleb Boys; and 20 great-grandchildren.
