Linda Sall, née Bonow, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 11, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late George Sall, the devoted mother of Jonathan Weiss, Kristopher Sall, and Sarah Sall, and the cherished grandmother of Avery Weiss and Ethan Weiss. She was predeceased by her beloved sister Diane Sernovitz and her first husband, Buddy Weiss.
Born and raised in West Oak Lane, Linda enjoyed an idyllic childhood before raising her family and living for forty years in Radnor, Pennsylvania. She later spent her final years in Center City, Philadelphia. She earned her undergraduate degree from Temple University and a Master of Social Work from Bryn Mawr College.
Linda lived a full and joyful life filled with many interests and passions. She worked as a City Hall guide, a social worker with Delaware County Children and Youth, a family therapist, and the founder of a children’s clothing business. A lifelong reader and tennis player, she also cared for horses for many years and was an avid gardener. Deeply committed to her community, she played an active role in establishing and growing Or Shalom synagogue and was passionate about political and environmental causes. Above all, she treasured her many deep, lifelong friendships. Linda approached everything she did with style, warmth, and love, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
