Linda Ruth Wise

Linda Ruth Wise, 75, of Millersburg, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026. Born in Freeport, Ohio on January 1, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Wilma (Logan) Berger.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wise. She is survived by her sons, Jack P. (Ellen) Jones, Adam (April) Jones, and Jody (Angel) Jones; her daughter, Trisha (Graig) Harbold; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A registered nurse with hospice, Linda devoted herself to caring for others during their most difficult times. She possessed a heart of gold, a deep kindness, and a wonderful sense of humor. She found joy in nature, quilting, and above all, spending time with family and friends. Linda embraced life fully and loved to dance, especially to the oldies. Many will cherish the memory of her lighting up the room when “Footloose” played, dancing with the energy of someone half her age.

She will be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her. Her family holds close the knowledge that she is now at peace, dancing among the stars until they meet again.
