Linda McCarthy of Bellevue, Ohio, passed away on March 15, 2026, at the age of 76. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister whose warmth and devotion left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
She was predeceased by her parents, Fred Scott and Aline Scott (Brogneaux), and her siblings, David Scott and Carol Crawford. Linda is survived by her sons, Rex Melson (Melanie) of Bellevue and Jayson Melson (Julie) of Sandusky; her grandchildren, Kyle Melson and Brooklyn Melson; her great-grandchild, Asher Barnhart; and her siblings, Tom Scott (Mary Kay) and Sharron Suter (Don).
Through her steady presence and quiet strength, Linda created a rich legacy of love that will continue to live on in her family.
