Her son Mark Moceri, and grandchildren Tommy, Gracie and Joey Moceri were the center of her world.Linda was a loving life-long teacher and a well-known respected and devoted principal for Dearborn Public Schools. After graduating from Fordson High School in 1966, Linda earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1975. In the years following, Linda dedicated much of her time to continued education, earning three master's degrees, first in Early Childhood and a second in Counselling from University of Michigan, and a third from Eastern Michigan in Educational Administration.Linda began her career as Director of the University of Michigan Early Childhood Development Center in the 1970s. She then transitioned to second grade education at St. Thomas Aquanis Catholic School, and eventually to Dearborn Public Schools as a teacher and elementary school principal.Upon retirement in 2008, Linda gave back to her cherished universities as a professor at both University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University passing on her knowledge and experience to those following in her footsteps in the field of early childhood education.Most important to Linda was her family. She raised her son Mark and cared for and adored her grandchildren. Linda was a dear sister to Jack, Terry & Brian (Linda) Tynan and loving cousin to Sandra Abraham and Michele VanEsley and to many nieces and nephews.Linda is preceded in death by her loving parents John & Marion Tynan, brother Jack Tynan, niece Katy Tynan and her close cousin Shawn Abraham, Gregory Abraham and Timothy VanElsey.Family will receive friends Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 2:00 - 8:00p.m with Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at A.J. Desmond and Sons Funeral Home, 32515 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48073.Funeral Mass Friday, March 20, 2026 - 10:00 a.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church, 630 Harmon St. Birmingham, MI 48009.
