Linda Goebel, age 65, passed away on March 4, 2026, in Cohasset, Minnesota, surrounded by the love of her family at her side.Linda was born on August 27, 1960, in Rush City, Minnesota, to LeRoy and Cecelia Shinler. She attended Rush City High School before continuing her education at Anoka Vo-Tech. Linda later became self-employed as a printed circuit board designer, a career she dedicated herself to for over 30 years.Linda was a woman of deep and abiding faith who loved Jesus and lived out that faith every day. She was actively involved at Hill City Baptist Church, where she joyfully served others. Those who knew Linda will remember her for her warm heart, generous spirit, and the way she made everyone feel welcome and loved. Her kindness, faith, and ability to bring people together left a lasting impact on all who had the blessing of knowing her.Linda had a special love for the outdoors, but nothing brought her more joy than being out on the water in the boat and sharing those moments with her husband and family. She also cherished time hiking and traveling. Above all else, her family meant everything. She loved bringing loved ones together for holidays and special celebrations, creating many treasured memories over the years. Her grandchildren were especially dear to her, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Linda rarely missed an opportunity to attend their sporting events and other activities, always cheering them on with pride and enthusiasm.Linda is survived by her husband of 45 years, Frederick Goebel; her three children and their families, Melissa (Rob) Nelson, Sarah (Tim) Fisher, and Jesse Goebel; as well as eight beloved grandchildren; her siblings, Brad Shinler (Judy Gilats), Debbie (Dan) Sandeen, Doug (Shellie) Shinler, Tammy (Jerry) Scheffer, Kevin (Anne) Shinler, Jodi (Dave) Scheffer; her father, LeRoy Shinler; mother-in-law, Janice Goebel; and many nieces, nephews and friends.She was preceded in death by her mother, Cecelia Shinler; father-in-law, Dean Goebel; and nephew, Logan Shinler.Visitation and reviewal 5-8 PM Thursday, March 12 at Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush City. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Lonnie Lee: 10 AM Friday, March 13 at Creekside Farm (8555 Rushseba Trail) in Rush City, Minnesota.
