She was predeceased by: her parents, Linwood Lee Brinkley and Helen Holland Walters; and her sister Peggy Jernigan. She is survived by: her husband Alvin Y. Warren; her sister Barbara B. Spivey (David); and her pet Mylo.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Parr Funeral Home & Crematory (3515 Robs Dr, Suffolk, VA 23434).
