Linda Miller ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Rhiel Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Durand on Mar. 2, 2026.Linda M Miller, age 67, passed quietly on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Dove Healthcare West Eau Claire with her family by her side, a short 17 days after her beloved husband, Ray.Linda was born on September 5, 1958, in Wisconsin Rapids to James and Eva (Peterson) Fekete. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids in 1976. Linda went on to work at Hamel Forest Products and American Images (Skypix Inc). While raising her children, she worked from home sewing clothes for teddy bears and dolls. Later, she worked at Kwik Trip, Scheels IGA, and Marron Foods. On September 14, 1979, she married the love of her life, Ray L Miller Sr., and gained a lovely new daughter in the mix. Together, they went on to create not only two mischievous, stubborn & loving boys but also a company, Miller Custom Furnishings, where they worked side by side, making and installing custom kitchen cabinets, bedroom & living room furniture, and almost anything people could come up with.Linda was a dedicated wife and mother with a strong yet gentle heart. Her house was seldom quiet, given her love for many furry and sometimes feathered companions. She loved plants and flowers, enjoyed fishing, and puzzles. One of her favorite things to do was to shake dice and play cards; there was probably a million dollars exchanged over the years, one quarter at a time. She leaves behind a daughter, Melissa (Jay) Mattheis, Wis. Rapids; 2 sons; Ray (Chrissy) Miller Jr., Mondovi, Lloyd (Nicole) Miller, Durand, 7 grandchildren; Mackenzie (Brett) Hasbrouck, Kyle Mattheis, Kayden, Landen and Jayden Miller, Kegan Wittig, Brady (Rylan Prissel) Miller; 1 great granddaughter Briar Hasbrouck. She is further survived by a brother, Emery (Alberta) Fekete, and sisters, Dorothy (Marv) Goldberg and Theresa (Hubert) Malsin, as well as in-laws Ross (Linda) Miller and Rusty (Lori) Miller.
