Linda Louise Johnson

Linda Louise Johnson, of Covington, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, at the age of 78. Mrs. Johnson was a devoted member of High Point Baptist Church, where she faithfully served on the Benevolence Committee, taught Children’s Church, and actively participated in several women’s ministries. She was known for her generous spirit and had a special gift for making others feel loved—earning a reputation as one of the most thoughtful gift givers anyone could know. Above all, Mrs. Johnson cherished time spent with her family, creating lasting memories filled with love, warmth, and joy. Her kindness and selflessness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rebie Johnson; parents; Hubert Crowe and Martha Grace Seftwid; and brother, Ed Crowe.

Survivors include her niece, Lisa Cole (David); nephew, Rodney Johnson (Tori); sister-in-law, Mary Ann Johnson; great-nieces and nephews, Sam Johnson (Anna), Michaela Cole, and Ballard Johnson.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Johnson will be held Friday, March 20, 2026, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to her service from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M.
