Linda Lou Hufnagle

Linda Lou Hufnagle, age 86, of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away on March 10, 2026.

A 1957 graduate of Westmont High School, Linda was valedictorian of her class. She remained deeply devoted to her faith throughout her life, teaching Sunday school for many years and faithfully reading her Bible one and a half times each year. She found joy in collecting antiques, cooking, sewing, and tending her garden. Alongside her husband Stephen, she spent many hours in the garage sanding and restoring pieces, while also managing the accounting and bookkeeping for their family business.

Linda is survived by her husband of 66 years, Stephen Hufnagle; her daughters, Melissa Miles and her husband Christopher, and Patsy Dill and her husband Pat; grandchildren Stephen Halley and his wife Krista, and JJ Halley; numerous great-grandchildren; her brother Jack Young; and her sister Joan Scarberry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Henrietta (Plock) Young, a grandchild, Clayton Halley, and a sister-in-law, Vicki Young.
