Linda Lee Lightfoot Obituary March 6, 2026 - Wareing Cremation Services

Linda Lightfoot (nee Hoy), age 78, passed away peacefully on Friday March 6, 2026, at Stratford General Hospital. Linda was the beloved wife of the late Bryan Lightfoot. The two shared a loving marriage that began on January 21, 1967, and built a life together centered around family. After Bryan's passing, Linda deeply missed her lifelong partner. Their years together were filled with love, dedication, and the joy of raising their family. She will be lovingly remembered by her four sons Greg (Candy), Gord (Danielle), Ron (Lisa), and Tom (Canday). Linda was a proud grandmother of seven grandchildren Genny (Chris), Megan, Dan (Taylor), Gillian (Nick), Jordan, Nick (Bev), and Abby. She was also a cherished great-grandmother of her seven great-grandchildren Ella, Lauren, Madi, Olivia, Breanna, Aubrey, and Adalynn, all of whom brought her great happiness. Linda is survived by her siblings Carolyn Hoy, Wayne Hoy (predeceased by his wife Wendy), Connie Worthington (predeceased by her husband Sam), and Larry (Mid) Hoy. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Louis and Anna Hoy Linda will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the many memories shared with them over the years. Her warmth, strength, and devotion to those she loved will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday March 22, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the East Zorra Tavistock Township Office, 89 Loveys Street East, Hickson, Ontario.Wareing Cremation Services, 225 Norwich Ave., Woodstock, Ontario has been entrusted with Final Arrangements.
