Linda Lee Adams Tarver, 68, of Ferriday, Louisiana, passed away on March 10, 2026, at the home she shared with her husband in Ferriday. Born on March 9, 1958, in Ferriday, she was the daughter of Floyd Brashier Adams and Ida Burris Adams and sister to the late Floyd D. Adams.
Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life revolved around her family. She found her deepest joy in caring for those she loved, supporting her children and grandchildren through every milestone, and creating lasting memories together. She took particular delight in spending weekends with her great-grandson, JC Sutton, who became the light of her life. Known for her steady presence, sense of humor, home cooking, and unwavering support, Linda rarely missed an important family event and made her loved ones her highest priority.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bennie Wayne Tarver; her sons, Stephen Tarver and Thomas Tarver; her daughters, Veronica Tarver Bruce and husband John Bruce, Tina Nicole Malcomb, and Amanda Paulette Tarver; her grandchildren, Ashton Bruce Sutton and husband Casey Sutton, McKinley Malcomb, and John Auston Bruce; her great-grandchildren; her brothers, Billy Joe Adams and wife Shirley and Russell Lee Adams; other siblings; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Linda will be remembered for her deep love for her family, her warm sense of humor, and the many moments she shared with those who mattered most. Her love, guidance, and steady presence will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
