Linda L. Steele

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda L. Steele (Westfield, Indiana), born in Lucerne, Missouri, who passed away on March 8, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Johnson and Rita Johnson (Bonebright); her husband Carl M. Steele; her sister Louise McBain; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Steele and Ana Louise Carter.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Steele (Vicky), Becky Drlik (Scott) and Joel Steele (Angie); her grandchildren, Christopher Russo (Jessica), Grant Drlik (Amber), Jessica Steele, Michael Steele, Morgan Wagner (Michael), Connor Steele, Zachary Steele, Brady Drlik, Sophia Steele and Lillie Steele; and her great grandchildren, Remington Drlik, Millie Drlik, Bodhi Dean, Solomon Wagner, Magdalena Wagner, Max Russo and Luca Russo.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Westfield Friends Church (324 S Union St, Westfield, IN 46074). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM at the Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery (4180 Westfield Rd, Westfield, IN 46074). A burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at the Will Follow Funeral Services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westfield Friends Church or to The Carl and Linda Steele "Casting Bright Futures" Scholarship (https://www.wwswef.org) through the Westfield Education Scholarship Foundation.
