Linda Kay Stoecker

Linda Kay Stoecker, 61, of Raytown, Missouri, passed away on March 11, 2026. Born on April 16, 1964, to Russell and Jeanette (Adams) Stoecker, she grew up in the Kansas City area and graduated from Ruskin High School before earning her RN degree from Graceland College.

Linda devoted nearly nineteen years of her career to nursing at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, retiring in June 2025. She took great pride and fulfillment in caring for veterans. A woman of deep faith, she was a faithful Christian and a loving, devoted mother who cherished her dogs and remained a passionate Kansas City Chiefs fan throughout her life. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crafting, and she especially treasured the adventures and cooking sessions she shared with her son, Christian.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Carol Lyston and Cheryl Shick. Linda is survived by her son, Christian Stoecker, of the home, along with many other family members and friends who will remember her gentle spirit and kind heart.
