Linda Chevalier ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home - Luckey on Mar. 13, 2026.Linda Kay Chevalier, 72, of Elmore, OH, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born as Linda Whiting in Port Clinton, OH on April 12, 1953 to Richard C. and Helen E. (Burke) Whiting. Linda was blessed with 3 children from a previous marriage and later in her life she would find love again, and two other boys would become part of her family as her sons as well.In addition to being a homemaker, Linda, worked in assembly for Celotex 20 plus years before she retired. She enjoyed preparing for Christmas, attending bingo, going to VFW events, was an avid sports fan of all the City of Cleveland sports including; the Browns, Indians, Cavaliers, and the Ohio State Buckeyes Football Team. She enjoyed day trips to Frankenmuth, Amish Country, and even took a trip to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN. Her favorite joy remained always spending time with her family especially, her grand, and great-grandchildren.Linda, is survived by her children: Tammy Stayancho of Woodville, John (Roxanne) Stayancho of Oak Harbor, Kale Chevalier and Kevn Chevalier. Grandchildren: Terry, Coltan, Eden, Chase, Ivy, Timothy, Katie, Alexis, Nathan, Jacob, and Rachel. Great-grandchildren: Korbin, Kellen, Everleigh, boyfriend, Bill St. Claire of Walbridge and her fur baby, Scooby, Linda's pet Chihuahua. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son, Tim Stayancho brothers: Richard, David, Terry, sisters: Patricia, Tina, and Debbie.There are no public services at this time. Linda will be laid to rest next to her son Tim in Sackett Cemetery, Lakeside Marblehead, OH.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of contribution to: Humane Society of the donor's choice.
