Linda Jones, born on September 10, 1957, in Covington, Kentucky, passed away on March 11, 2026, in Corbin, Kentucky, at the age of 68. The daughter of the late John Louis and Joan Jump Baker, she was united in marriage to Jeffery Keith Jones on October 20, 1978. Linda found joy in cooking and crafting, yet nothing brought her greater happiness than gathering with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Jones of Alexandria, Kentucky, and William (April) Jones of Corbin, Kentucky; her daughter, Joanna Scott of Whitley City, Kentucky; three brothers, Johnny Baker, Jerry Sowders, and Rick Sowders; four sisters, Marlene Baker Brown, Lynita Bachmann, Robin Hollar, and Delora Motto; and six grandchildren, Sierra Buchanan (Leeanna Traylor), Trenton Jones (Kristen Calloway), Ashton Jones, Jonathan Buchanan, Austin Wehreman, and Aiden Jones.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffery, and her siblings, Eddie Baker, Jesse Baker, Mike Sowders, and Margie Baker Vermillion.
