She was predeceased by: her parents, Essie Elkins Miller and Arthur B. Miller. She is survived by: her husband Harry Willis "Chopper" McConnell, Jr.; her daughter Terri; her son-in-law Shannon Wohlford of Radford, VA; her son Jeff; her daughter-in-law Susan McConnell of Richmond, VA; her grandchildren, Grace Mason (Henry) of Richmond, Michael, William (Amanda), Hampton Wohlford of Radford, Reilly and Tyler McConnell of Richmond; and her brothers, Harold (Connie Miller), Larry Miller of Lakeland, FL and David (Kathy Miller).

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery (5550 Bagging Plant Rd, Dublin, VA 24084).
