Linda Jean Johnson

Linda Jean Johnson, 78, of Somerset, passed away on March 13, 2026, at Rolling Hills Healthcare Center in New Albany, Indiana, after an extended illness.

Born on October 14, 1947, in Somerset, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Lester H. Whitaker and Clara Christine Hansford Whitaker. Linda worked as a laborer in the manufacturing industry for most of her career. A woman of Christian faith, she was remembered as a loving, caring, devoted, and generous mother. She found joy in spending time with her husband Roger, shopping with her mother, and reading mystery novels.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roger D. Johnson.

Linda is survived by her loving and devoted son, Timothy (Julie) Price of Somerset; her step-son, Stacy Johnson; grandchildren Timothy “Adam” Price, Tori, Levi, and Rokko Johnson; great-grandchildren Arian and Reagan Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
