Linda Henrickson

Linda J. Henrickson, age 73, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026. Born on March 10, 1953, she spent the last 35 years living in Fenwick, Michigan, where she became a beloved figure in the racing community as the owner of Mid-Michigan Raceway Park. To Linda, the track was far more than a business; it served as a second home and a welcoming gathering place that brought together racers, fans, and families for many years.

In addition to her work at the racetrack, Linda was a certified Duncan ceramics teacher who generously shared her creativity and passion with others, helping many discover the joy of artistic expression through ceramics.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Henrickson; her children, Kris Wilson, Ronald Henrickson, Gene A. Henrickson, Gary Schmid, and Josette Schmid; and her grandchildren, Tyler Schmid, Hunter Schmid, Reese Sandin, and bonus grandchild Brad Bowser. Linda’s family remained the center of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlo C. Lillywhite and Virginia Lillywhite, and her stepson, Jeffrey Henrickson.

Linda will be remembered for her strength, generosity, and the warm way she welcomed others into her life as family. Her deep passions for racing, teaching, and community left a lasting impact on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by those whose lives she touched.
