Linda Gail Tallant

Linda Gail Tallant, 81, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026. Born on November 12, 1944, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, she graduated from Central High School with the Class of 1962 and later earned an Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Cleveland State Community College. A woman of Catholic faith, Linda found quiet joy in the pages of a good book and cherished the simple pleasure of reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Arnold and Clyde Tallant; her brothers, Larry Tallant and Robert Tallant; and her children, Steven Goddard and Tonnie Moon.

Linda leaves behind grandchildren Kristen, Karley, Kerra, Hannah, Abbagayle, and Andrew, along with several great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends who will remember her with affection. The family is especially grateful to Martha, Debbie, and Karley for the loving care and compassion they showed her.
