Linda Faye Mackey, 80, of Muncie, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026. Born on December 12, 1945, in Tateville, Kentucky, to Robert and Rena (Burris) West, she lived a life rooted in family and quiet strength.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Edward “Ed” Mackey; her daughters, Bonnie (Jericho) Ford and Michelle (Bob) Smith; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Nina Dishman; and several nieces and nephews who will carry forward her memory.
Linda’s family was the center of her world, and the love she shared with them remains her lasting legacy. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Green Hills Memory Gardens in New Castle.
