She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas J. Downey; her brother Ronald Hipwell; and her sister-in-law Hazel Downey. She is survived by: her children, Kristen M. Downey (Thomas Cholewa) and Sean T. Downey; her stepdaughter Diane Jackson (Richard); her grandchild Teagan Cholewa; and her sister-in-law Mary Hipwell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter and Paul Church (5480 Main Rd, Williamsville, NY 14223).
