Linda Daughtery

Linda Daugherty, age 67, passed away on March 10, 2026. Small in stature but mighty in spirit, she lived with strength, heart, and an unwavering devotion to her family. A true leader among those who knew her, Linda possessed a huge heart and a kind nature that made everyone around her feel welcome and loved. Her unforgettable hugs, determined spirit, and readiness to help those she cared for left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Family was the center of Linda’s world. She remained deeply involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren, offering constant support through every season. After the heartbreaking loss of her grandchildren’s mothers, she stepped in without hesitation to help raise them, providing the stability, guidance, and unconditional love they needed. Her strength and dedication during that difficult time revealed the depth of her character and the remarkable woman she was.

Linda found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved watching her favorite show, SWAT, and enjoyed scary movies, often relaxing with a piece of dark chocolate. In the kitchen, one of her happiest places, she prepared meals for her family and created cherished memories around the table playing competitive games of rummy filled with laughter. She was a proud mother and grandmother, but one of her greatest joys was becoming a great-grandmother. She was also fiercely protective of her daughters, ensuring every future husband met her high standards.

Linda Daugherty will be remembered for her strength, kindness, fierce love for her family, and the warmth she brought into every room. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie Brown and Bessie Lou Gordon, her husband, Steve Daugherty, and two daughters, Fawnia and Locrissa Daugherty. She is survived by her sister, Regina Marshall, three grandchildren, Katlin Littlepage (Hunter Scarbrough), Dyllan Foree (Brittney Maclin), and Dalton Foree (Angelina Rhodes), and one great-grandson, Colton Littlepage.
